David O Selznick was a film producer from the 1920's to the 1950's with several of his films winning and being nominated for Oscars. He produced a wide range of films including the great classic films Gone With The Wind and King Kong. He worked for his own production company as well as MGM, Paramount and RKO making him very influential in films in the 1930's. His second wife was the actress Jennifer Jones.
