Deborah Kerr was a successful British actress mainly during the 1940's and 1950's and is best remembered for her role in the King And I though she also gave good performances in Black Narcissus and An Affair To Remember. She started her career in British films before moving across to Hollywood. In many ways she was the first British star in Hollywood.
