Valerie Hobson was a British actress in the 1930's and 1940's. She started her career as a teenager and spent some of her early career in Hollywood before working back in England. Her first husband was the producer Anthony Havelock-Allan and she appeared in several of his films. Her second husband was John Profumo who was the subject of a notorious sex scandal in the early 1960's. She retired from acting after she married John Profumo.
