A widow (Ann-Margaret) persuades John Wayne to find some gold that her husband stole, so she can return it and start a new life. Although the husband and some of the gand are dead, the rest are not and are also after the gold. This is a fairly standard variation on the western adventure. John Wayne was past his best, but Ann-Margaret gives a good performance as the feisty widow.
