Gloria Swanson was an actress with a long career starting in 1915 in the silent era and spaning 60 years into the the 1970's. She was married 6 times. Her first husband was Wallace Beery. She was nominated for three Best Actress Oscars. She initially started as a comic actor but under the direction of Cecil B Demille she expanded into more dramatic roles and became a style icon.
