A music hall star (Gloria Swanson) is caught between the amourous advances of two wealthy men (H B Warner) and competition from a rival singer (Mary Thurman). Swanson falls for Warner only to find he is already married with a child (an uncredited Helen Mack). There is a glorious performance from Gloria Swanson as the feisty emotional music hall star with elaborate clothes and jewelry. There are some good scenes with Gloria Swanson and rival Mary Thurman including Swanon on a giant swing over the audience with the rope having been cut by Thurman and a fight between the two of them at a party.
