In the 1930's the concierge and his bell boy prodege get involved in the theft and recovery of a priceless painting that is part of an inheritance. The story is told as flashbacks / reminiscene and whilst it has a slightly strange style, it is also surprsingly funny. This film is difficult to classify, but is basically a black comedy and has good performances from a strong cast thanks to a strong direction from Wes Anderson. .
