Career / Biography

As a student he met Owen Wilson who he became friends with. Together they made their first film Bottle Rocket which was not a success but started his career. It was The Royal Tenebaums that gave him major success. With Fantastic Mr Fox he made a stop motion animation that built on his admiration for Roald Dahl and Ray Harryhausen. The Grand Budapest Hotel is arguably the best of his films that combined all of his skills. For Isle Of Dogs he returned to stop motion animation.
