Comment
In 1999 an ex-policeman has a machine that can record what people see and feel and then allow someone else to experience what they experienced. Most of these are set up for sexual gratification which he sells on the black market. Whilst trying to win back his ex-girlfriend (Juliette Lewis) he comes into possession of a recording that shows the rape and murder of a woman that he knew. The culprits are soon after him and the main person who helps him is friend who is a bodyguard (Angela Bassett). Ralph Feinnes is good as the small time crook getting out of his depth and involved in exposing police corruption with Angela Bassett taking the other lead role as his partner. Juliette Lewis is the girl who wants to be asinger and wll use her body to get what she wants. This is a good film that is well produced by Kathryn Bigelow that is still effective despite being centered around the milllenium.
