Jack Nicholson is an aging, womanising music executive who is dating Amanda Peet, but when he has a heart attack he ends up being looked after by her mother (Diane Keaton). Keanu Reeves is the doctor looking after Jack Nicholson who falls for Diane Keaton. This is a gentle film of romance and relationships that is a showcase for the very good talents of Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson, with a good script and direction from Nancy Meyers. It plays on the ideas of sexuality in older people and mature relationships.
