Gentle romantic drama of a young boy (Ross Malinger) who phones a radio show asking for a new wife for his dad (Tom Hanks) after his first wife died. Meg Ryan is the woman from the other side of the USA sets out to meet them. This is a romance that gets gets you wanting the two leads to come toegther. One of the best feel good romantic films from the 1990's. Nora Ephron wrote and directed this film and is interesting in that the two characters only meet in the final scene of the film. It also runs along with clips from other films including An Affair To Remember.
