Comment/Synopsis

Meryl Streep plays Karen Silkwood, worker at a nuclear processing plant, who just before she was about to expose contamination of workers and the environment is mysteriously killed in a car accident. Meryl Streep and Cher both give strong performances in this thought provoking drama written by Nora Ephron.
