Diana Scarwid's career has spanned from the late 1970's through to the 2000's, during which time she has worked on television and in films. She ws nominated for the Best Supporting Actess Oscar for Inside Moves, one of her first films. By contrast she was awarded a Razzie Award for Worst Supporting Actress in Mommie Dearest.
