Two robbers (George Cloone and Quentin Tarrantino) kidnap a minister (Harvey keitel) and his children (juliette Lewis) and force them to drive to a bar in Mexico to make a payoff. The bar is run by vampires and survival to dawn becomes the priority. This is an unusual mixture of crime and horror, which is not surprisng as the screenplay was written by Quentin Tarrantino, with the second half of the film being violent and bloody as well as being visually impressive, especially Salma Hayek's exotic dance.
