George Clooney is known for his role in the televison show ER as well as his wide range of films. He started his career on television befor getting his first big film, From Dusk Till Dawn. His next film was the romantic comedy One Fine Day. Batman and Robin was a lighter version of the franchiseand was not the most sucessful of the series. Out of Sight was a crime thriller and this made him a star. Ocean's Eleven was a remake of the earlier film with a good dialogue and again a star cast and led to sequels. Solaris was a change in the science fiction genre and intolerable cruelty was a return to romantic comedy. Michael Clayton was a complex thriller for which he was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar. Burn After Reading was one of several films he made with the Coen brothers. In someways his charcter in Up In The Air is his most down to earth role for which he was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar. The Descendants is about a man trying to reconnect with his daughters and gain him another Best Actor Oscar nomination. With gravity he returned to the science fiction genre that is a mix of space and a two handed film. Hail, Caesar is a Coen brothers film set in making a film in the golden agee of Hollywood.
