Drew Barrymore was a child actress (who stared in ET) and has gone on to be a successful adult actress in a variety of roles. She has a family background in acting (her grandmother was the silent star Dolores Costello) but after early success in ET she got into drugs, alcohol and using her sexuality at an early age. Fortunately she has subsequently used her acting talents to good effect.
