Comment/Synopsis

Danielle (Drew Barrymore) the put upon step daughter, fights for herself and her family name against her scheming step mother (Angelica Huston) whilst winning nthe heart of the handson prince (Dougray Scott). Forget the Disney take on this story. This Cinderella is strong, intelligent, feisty and fights for what she wants. This is better than most versions of the story with good performances from Drew Barrymore and Angelica Huston and some nice throw away one liners in the dialogue.
