Sean Connery is a British publisher in Russia who gets drawn into a cold war spy operation between western intelligence and an eastern defector and along the way finds love. This is a variation on the cold war spy theme based on the novel by John Le Carre and benefits from a strong performance from Michelle Pfeiffer.
