Comment/Synopsis

A sorcerer (Peter Lorre) is turned into a raven by another sorcerer (Boris Karloff) and so he goes to see another sorcerer (Vincent Price) to reverse the spell. Things are further complicated because Vincent Prices's wife (Hazel Court) has pretended to be dead so she could go off with Boris Karloff. Whilst the plot and script are not particularly good there are fun performances from Peter Lorre, Vincent Price and Hazel Court. The scene with the most fun is the battle of magic between Vincent Price and Boris Karloff. Jack Nicholson has a small role in one of his earliest films.
