A young bear travels from Peru to London to try and find the explorer who had met his parents years before. He ends up at Paddington station where he is taken in by the brown family who take him in despite all the chaos he brings to their house. This is a wonderfully delightful comedy that is a great mix of live action and animation. The characters are appealing and the film brings to life the books of Michael Bond. This version of Paddington has an innocent charm, the humour is good and the mix of animation and live action is very effective. The voices for the animation is good and the rest of the actors are well cast. This is one of those films that appeals to both children and adults.
