A female doctor (Kay Francis) has been in love with another doctor (Lyle Talbot) for years, but he marries another woman (Thelma Todd) with political connections to advance his career. After the meet by chance on holiday they rekindle their relationship, but things get complicated when she and his wife are both pregnant. This is definately a pre-code film with a female doctor, extra-marital relationships and pregnancy outside of marriage. All themes banned under the Hayes Code. Kay Francis is not at her best in this film and Thelma Todd only has a small part, though the best performance is from Gelda Farrell who is Kay Francis's nurse and friend.
