Comment/Synopsis

A scientist (Boris Karloff) takes a group on an expedition to find a meteor that turns out to have radiation that has both harmful and healing properties. The ray starts to kill him and his touch kills other people, but this is kept at bay by an antidote. Whilst the science is nonsense there is a good performance from Boris Karloff as he becomes more and more paranoid with good support from Bela Lugosi and Frances Drake. This film was promoted as not being a horror film due to the limitation imposed by the Hayes Code.
