A woman has an affair with a married nobleman, but when she get pregnant she is forced to leave the baby with the father and goes to America where she marries a wealthy man. Two years later she meets the father and his wife in New York. This is a drama of love and morality that is constrained by the Hayes Code. Kay Francis is her usual elegant self as she deals with love to a married man and then marrying another man. The fun part of the film is the relationship between Roland Young and Helen Flint in the second half of the film.
