Sissy Spascek is a young girl with telekinetic powers who gets her revenge on the other students after being bullied at school. A good translation on to film of the Steven King novel. Piper Laurie gives a good performance as the mother with the extreme religious views. Strangely you feel for the murderer and the blood is not part of killings and is more symbolic. This was the film that brought Steven King's work to a wider public.
