A widowed president of the USA (Michael Douglas), who has a young daughter, falls in love with an ecological political activist (Annette Bening). This is a lightweight romantic story that contrasts the demands of personal versus political life. This has good performances from both Michael Douglas and Annette Bening, plus good supporting roles from Martin Sheen as his aide and best friend. There is a very good script from writer Aaron Sorkin. This is a romatic comedy that reflects mature relationships.
