English actress Vivien Leigh is best remembered for her role in Gone with the Wind and was married to Laurence Olivier from 1940 to 1961. Although she trained at RADA and initially appeared in the British stage, it was when Korda signed up up for a film contract that her career and fame took off. She made films in both Britian and in America in a variety of styles. She had a beauty and also a slightly rebellious loook in her eyes. Over her career she did appear in a range of films to show off her range of abilities and also to avaiod being stereotyped.
