Comment
An executive (Clark Gable) in a publishing company has a sexy, blonde and efficient secretary (Jean Harlow), but he spends more time with her to close a big deal, his wife (Myrna Loy) starts to suspect that they have more than a working relationship. This is wonderful romantic comedy that has a witty script and great performances from the lead actors. There is a chemistry between Gable and Loy and loving married couple that both work to keep, despite the sexual attraction between Gable and Harlow. The sexuality is implied in places due to the limitations of the Hayes Code. James Stewart has only a small part as jean Harlow's long suffering boy friend. This is a good example of romantic comedies from the 1930's.
