The film starts as an expose of police corruption, with the police using men to entrap prostitutes and then turns into a love triangle. This is a film that could only be made pre-code as it exposed police corruption and showed women of dubious morals. Paul Lukas is good as the man being blackmailed by the police and torn between an old love and and a new love.
