A photographer (Ben Chaplin) talks to a vet (Janeane Garofalo) on the radio and when he arranges to meet her, she is so self conscious about her looks that she gets her pretty friend (Uma Thurman) to pretend to be her. This is a wonderful gem of a romantic comedy, that works through the charm of Janeane Garofalo and Ben Chaplin and they are ably supported by Uma Thurman. Whilst the theme is about the difference between inner and outer beauty, it is as much about being yourself and a good old fashioned love story.
