A group of well known but past their prime actors are making a big budget film of of the Vietnam war on location in Vietnam when things do not go as planned and some of the group are captured by local drugs lords and the others have to rescue them. In order to survive they have to become their characters. This is a wonderful piece of satire of Hollywood's view of war and Vietnam in particular that is well played by the high quality cast who deliver the good screenplay with style and wit. .
