Comment/Synopsis

A dramatised version of Richard III rise to the throne by eliminating his rivals. Whilst the film may not be the most historically accurate it does show the political skulduggery going on in that period. The main strength of the film is the performance of Basil Rathbone as he schemes his way to the throne. There is also good support from Vincent Price. The film has some dark undertones as Vincent Price has minatures of his victims hidden in cupboard.
