Comment
Glenda Jackson is a divorcee who meets a married American man by chance in a London park. She agrees to start an affair if he takes her somewhere warm, so they go to Spain for a week. They come back to London and continue the affair. This first half of the film is funny as the two opposite characters attract each other and Glenda Jackson gives a good performance delivering some cutting lines amongst somes bebroom banter. The second half where they keep meeting in a flat in Soho, lacks the humour and reflects the problems and consequences of a married man having an affair. Worth watching for the first half and the performance from Glenda Jackson.
