Comment
This is H G Wells vision of a science driven future. A long drawn out war leads to a break down in society, then a plague wipes out most of the population. A group of survivors start to rebuild society around science. Alexander Korda has produced a good version of story that covers a 1000 years of history. The three main episodes are disjointed, but it does give us a view of H G Well's vision of the future. Korda creates tropes that are used in later films with the plague victims becoming the styalised type of the later zombie films.
