A married man is having a long term affair with a successful business womanwhen since his daughter has come of age he decides to ask his wife for a divorce. Things get complicated when they relaise his daughter is engaged to her brother. This is largely a study of the relationships between the main characters rather than being plot driven. Whilst not the best of Kay Frnacis's performances she is typically elegant but also sympathetic and appropriately emotional. There is a good supporting and natural performance from Gloria Stuart as the daughter in her film debut.
