A man (C;aude Rains) making money through some shady business practices gets a fashsion model (Kay Francis) to be his escort to give him some class to attract rich investors. They both do well with her setting up a successful fashion business, but when the police start closing in on his illegal dealings he asks her to marry him as a way of avoiding trouble. There are good performances from Kay Francis and Claude Rains as the central characters. Ian Hunter is not convincing as the love interest in the holiday of the title. Alison Skipworth bring light relief as her confidant.
