Comment/Synopsis

Sherlock Holmes investigates the death of a woman after being asked by her sister as she fears for her life. This is a solid though not great version of this Sherlock Holmes story. Raymond Massey is good as Sherlock Holmes, but Athole Stewart is less convincing as Doctor Watson.
