Comment/Synopsis

The son of Frankenstein (Basil Rathbone) returns to the castle with his wife (Josephine Hutchinson) and discovers that Ygor (Bela Lugosi) has kept the body of the monster (Boris Karloff) in a coma and so using his father's notes he revives the monster. There is a good performance from Bella Lugosi as the assistant. In this film the role of the monster is smaller than in previous Frankenstaein films from Universal and Boris Karloff insisted that this time the monster did not speak.
