The film portrays the making of Nosferatu, the classic black and white vampire film from F W Murnau. It gives a good feel of the making of b/w films and uses the premise of what if Schreck (who played the vampire) was actually a vampire and how that would affect the production. Good performances from John Malkovich as the director and Willem Dafoe as the vampire.
