Michael Douglas is a secret service agent on Presidential protection detail. Whilst having an affair with the presidents wife (Kim Basinger) he is blackmailed and the President has an assasination attempt on his life. He is framed for the attempt and has to go on the run to clear his name and find the guilty person. This is a competent though not great thriller with a typically good performance from Michael Douglas, though the script could have been better. Eva Longoria gives a good supporting performance as a CIA agent though Kim Basinger is there just for her name.
