John Voight and Eric Roberts escape from a maximum security prison in Alaska and get on board a train. However the driver dies and the only other person on the train is a female railway worker (Rebecca de Mornay) as the train runs at high speed out of control. This is less of a disaster movie and more of a study in the price of freedom. John Voight gives a strong performance as the hardened criminal fighting against the odds, both human and the Alaskan winter.
