A theatre producer persuades his accountant to put put on a play that is bound to fail so they can go off with the money put up by their backers. However their tasteless musical about Hitler becomes a success. The best performance is given by Uma Thurman. Remake of the Mel Brookes orriginal, but is more based on the Broadway musical version of the original play. Matthew Broderick and Matthew Lane had previously played their roles on the stage.
