Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are two sisters who have to live with a curse of their loved ones dying early. They accidentally kill one of Nicole Kidman's boyfriends and bury him in the garden after trying to revive him. Their lives are disrupted when a policeman (Aidan Quinn) comes to investigate his disappearance. This is entertaining if slightly disappointing, in that despite the good performances from the two leads and a direction that keeps the pace moving well, the plot is too predictable and lacks twists.
