Comment/Synopsis

This early Buster keaton film is notable for the first half of the film where he plays all the different parts of the orchestra, the players and the audience. The second half is him as a stage hand getting into all sorts of problems both backstage and on-stage, inclduing impersonating being a monkey. The first half is technically impressive and was ground breaking for its effects. The second half has some good comic scenes.
