A couple meet by accident during the blitz and marry after a few days. As a WREN she sent to Singapore but her ship is torpedoed whilst being evacuated. She is posted as missing presumed dead and he remarries. However she has survived and spends 3 years on a south seas island before being rescued and returns home. Anna Neagle gives a good performance as the woman who has a whirlwind romance, is ship wrecked and then discovers her husband has remarried. The basic plot has been reused several times since, and this is not the best version, but it is still an engaging film.
