Two British Sci-Fi fans (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) are touring Area 51 in an RV when they meet up with Paul, alien who has escaped from a government research facility. Whilst trying to evade the men trying to recapture Paul they pick up a young woman (Kristen Wiig) and then get chased by her father as well. This is a wonderfully entertaining piece of comedy sci-fi that is part road trip and part chase film. and in many ways a British film set in America that is a cross between Men in Black and ET. The CGI for Paul is good, giving him plenty of visual character to go with his very down to earth dialogue.
