Harrison Ford is an ex-CIA agent foils an IRA assassination attempt and in the process kills Sean Bean's brother. Sean Bean then escapes from custoty and and sets out to avenge avenge his brothers death on Harrison Ford and his family. There are good performances from Harrison Ford and Sean Bean and a good supporting cast. This was Phillip Noyce's first big budget Hollywood film.
