Comment/Synopsis
When her husband leaves his job in a newspaper to join the army his screen writer wife moves into a poorly appointed bugalow near the base to be close to him. This is a piece of American war time propaganda and the plot and script suffer from that. The best thing in the film is the entertaining comic performance from Irene Dunne. Today it only worth watching for Irene Dunne's performance. Charles Vidor directed this but then the next year went on to direct the excellent Gilda.
