Comment/Synopsis

Carole Lombard and Robert Montgomery are a couple who have a tempestuous marriage until one day they find that by a technical error they are not actually married. When he does not rush to repropose and marry her again, she decides to leave him for the single life and start dating other men. He does all he can to win her back. This is a gentle romantic comedy, that is different from much of Alfred Hitchcock's other work.
