Comment
The first manned mission to mars comes to a disastrous end and only Don Cheadle survives. Gary Sinise then leads a rescue mission to find out what happened. This is a mixture of disaster film and contact with aliens. Ther are some good scenes in space, but the acting and dialogue is very flat, particularly in the disaster scenes and this probably contributed to this being a major flop at the box office.
