A man is shot in a remote mansion and there is a suspision of murder so a nurese who is brought in to care for the elderly woman of the house is asked by the police inspector to help with the investigation. The plot is nothing special , but it is the lively and energetic performance from Joan Blondell that makes the film worth watching.
